Mail Safe

Last Updated on 26 May 2015, Company: Mailsafe

Mailsafe for Exchange Server offers compliance style email archiving which utilises the Microsoft Journal feature on Microsoft Exchange Server. All emails are securely encrypted using AES256 bit encryption which guarantees authenticity and prevents the original emails from being altered.

Microsoft no longer supports the use of stubbing techniques when archiving emails, which is one of the many reasons why Mailsafe does not use the outdated stubbing technique. Techne-Comm, the creators of Mailsafe, understand that it is not necessarily the size of the Exchange Server store that inhibits performance and back up times, but the number of items stored within the database – so one million emails replaced by one million stubs produces the same issues.
