Restoring DHCP Server Quickly

Tip explains how to restore a DHCP Server quickly in case of any disasters.

Restore-DHCPServer PowerShell cmdlet has been designed specifically to restore DHCP configuration database from a location that contains the DHCP database backup file.

To perform a DHCP restore operation, run below command on the DHCP Server:

  • Restore-DHCPServer –ComputerName DHCPServer1.Test.com –Path E:\DHCPBackup

Above command will restore DHCP configuration database from E:\DHCPBackup location.
