The World Economic Forum publishes Part 1 of its survey report about global risks for 2015. This forum engages political, business, academic and other leaders of society in collaborative efforts to shape global, regional and industry agendas.
“Internet of Things” (IoT) is going to be one of the main contributors to the changing risk landscape for 2015. While IoT will deliver innovations, it will also entail new risks. IoT raises questions about expectations of privacy and the fair and appropriate use of data about individuals. The current Internet infrastructure was not developed with such security concerns in mind.
